We recognise that the recent meningitis outbreak in Canterbury may be a cause for concern amongst visitors to our campus.
This has been a regional public health matter with the response led by the UK Health Security Agency (UKHSA). Following their guidance, our campus remains open.
We have been reassured by the authorities that the peak of the outbreak has now passed and whilst we are continuing to encourage our community to remain vigilant of symptoms, we are welcoming visitors to events and activities on campus as normal.

We have over 4,500 rooms on our Canterbury campus available on a B&B or self-catered accommodation.
With over 150 conference and event spaces to choose from, we are able to accommodate a wide range of events.
Head of Conferencing and Business Development: With a wealth of experience from over 20 years of service at the University. Sheena manages the office and handles large-scale conferences and events.
Conference and Business Development Manager: Caroline handles the operational side of events and looks after the business development with new and existing clients.
Events Officer: For your conference needs all year round, Jan is available to make your event a success from start to finish.
Events Coordinator: UK, European and international groups are Rachel's speciality, with 15 years in the role, your groups are in safe hands.
Events Coordinator: Liaising between our clients and our service providers, Katherine will ensure the smooth operation of your event.
Events Coordinator: Overseeing our day events in the Darwin Conference Suite and residential conferences during the summer, Lara is there to help your event run smoothly.
Events Administrator: Looking after our B&B bookings, internal catering enquiries and assisting the team with general event admin. Emma is onboard to help with any queries.
